Remember the 5th of November 💫🔥

Bonfire Night! One of my favourite times of the year! I don’t really know what it is about it, the fireworks, being in the cold and looking at beautiful colours in the sky. Or just a nice time spending time with people enjoying something spectacular. But I look forward to it every year. This year was no different. I guess because I don’t see it very often, that one time of the year I do get to see it, makes it better than it even could be. I guess on special events like New Years, the fireworks come out. That is just as magical.

This night is also known as Guy Fawkes Night, is celebrated because Guy Fawkes, a member of the Gunpowder Plot got arrested because he was guarding explosives. These were plotted beneath the House of Lords and the explosives never went off because Fawkes got caught. Now they set fireworks off to celebrate the survival of King James I. Of course, these days, no one really thinks about that and we enjoy the views of all the fireworks. But they gave us a night of sparkling fun.

I hope everyone had a great bonfire night!
