My First Tattoo

On the 3/04/17, I got my first tattoo. It was such an big experience for me. I was expecting to hurt so much! And my pain tolerance is pretty low. I mean to be honest, I was slightly panicking just before. She women even gave me a magazine to read to calm my nerves. Even though my friend, Theo, was there with me, I was still scared. The women was so nice at this point and I’m so happy about that. I did it at a place in Leicester called Uptown Tattoo Studio, and they were great.

Anyway, it took about 30 minutes I would say, and it was not as painful as I was expecting. It felt like someone was just scratching me constantly. Except from when she was shading and when it was on my bone, it hurt a little bit more. Reading the magazine out loud REALLY helped! Overall, I’m glad I did it, and I’m so happy with how it turned out!

It’s been nearly a week now since I’ve had it done, and I think it’s healing quite well. It’s still slightly raised and itchy but I’ve been washing it and putting the cream on so it should be good and healed soon. I got the cruelty free cream and it smells so good!

Also because it’s cruelty free, it’s so much better!

I’ve been out in the sun recently as the weather in England has been great. I was worried that it might fade as thats what people say but hopefully it’s not too bad.

I would probably do this again but definitely not anytime soon. I think I’ve had the experience and I’m happy not to not have another one for a while. But to all the tattoos ahead.
